Which of the principles another chooses is their concern alone.

There is not much to say here. So, let's use this space to go in a different direction.

In the 21st century, our mistakes stay with us like never before.  Indiscretions of the past or simple bad decisions of youth can stay with a person forever.

Therefore, it is worth considering...

Use caution when considering another's past and do not automatically or without careful consideration form your opinion of a person based on their worst moment. Instead, consider their relative contribution to society on the whole and the gravity of their worst and best works.

Consider that everyone has the capacity to improve, to grow. Consider forgiveness when dealing with those who are willing to become better.

Be cognizant of preconceived notions when forming opinions.
